I gotcha, but it only requires a box end wrench. :)

I dont rely on vacumn ! I just let gravity do the work for me ! ;-)

all I have to do is keep master cylinder from getting to low and allowing more air into system before it bleeds out of the lines ! :-)

gravity takes care of everything else and when a line (usually the front first) shows a steady stream coming out, I close its bleeder valve !

remember, this is when you are alone ! but even then, I still have more than a half a bottle of brake fluid left when I was done ! ;-)
I may be Rad and I may be Bad :pbj: but I am never SAD ! :kilt:
      Yea I'm *Q*C* and ?
it is a great feeling to have served your country and walk PROUD

When you are alone, try pumping the brakes and then lodging in something to hold the brake in place. jack stand works great since it's adjustable (been there, done that).

I'm looking into the 78 mercury grand marquis master cylinder swap and not sure about the proportioning valve. Some say to use a prop valve from a 98 ZJ, but it sounds that is only needed if you are running drums in the rear. I got discs all around so would I be ok?

I think I'm gonna throw in the new mc and see how it works by itself. I'll let you all know how it goes. Here's some articles I've read about it.....
