You can disengage the ARB if you're having trouble turning. That's the great thing about a selectable -- you have complete control. It's either on or off, no "slip" or clicking as it unloads.... I only engage mine when I get stuck somewhere. I'm open on the trails 99% of the time.

I can't justify the cost of a selectable locker for something I drive once in a while. With that said, how is the Aussie on dry pavement? I drive mine around for errands and stuff, so I would want to maintain some sort of street manners.

      Thx again,

I drive mine everyday. in 2 wheel drive I don't even notice it.

in 4 wheel drive I know its there and like it.

I click around slow corners, but that is the lockrite in rear axle.(2 and 4 wheel drive)

and if the clicking bothers you, turn radio on

even in 4 wheel drive, I have never noticed a clicking from front Aussie.

matter of fact, I am looking for an Aussie or lockrite for the 12 bolt in my 66 tug
I may be Rad and I may be Bad :pbj: but I am never SAD ! :kilt:
        Yea I'm *Q*C* and ?
it is a great feeling to have served your country and walk PROUD
