3 inch lit xj question about u jpints etc..and engine kits ebay

Well I'am going to install a 3 inch lift on the 89 xj . What concerns do I need to know about concerning ball joints u joints etc...
I'll be running 255 15 tires on it . You know nothing special .

Also anyone here use the kits rom the below link ?

I've installed the 3" Zone lift Kit and a homebrew kit with rusty's coils and an AAL, both on xjs. Assuming your ball joints are good you shouldn't have to worry about swapping out ball joints. U-Joints can depend, if you are running the original U-Joint it wouldn't hurt to replace it. The bigger issue is driveline angle, on the homebrew kit we had to install a transfercase drop to keep the upper ujoint from binding. On the zone the driveline angle was fine. Depending on what kit you go with some come with the transfer case drop some don't.
