D 30 Big Brakes

$1300 seems hight. I think mine was about $400 for the knuckle swap + parts for the crossover high steer (reamed knuckles, welded in goferit inserts, and flipped the tie rod to get it up higher; had to use a RHD WJ TRE for the drag link for clearance.

After a great deal of searching I have decided to do the big brake upgrade.
Im going with the Early XJ knuckles, early XJ brake bracket and Sport Trac brakes. Reason for this route, my cost. I do think this route is not for everyone.
The WJ swap is a simpler route.
Both upgrades require welding. Both Have 12" rotors and 48mm twin piston calipers.
(WJ) Akebono Calipers are slightly larger than the Sport Trac Bosch Calipers Per Vanco Brakes
