  • replacing locking hubs

Been a LLLOONNNGGG time since I've been on.
    97 TJ 8" lift, 37's, white/red..

got a lot of death wobble, really bad the other day. I haven't had the beads put in the tires for a long time...probably bad.

It SEEMED to be slow on the coast as well. Looked at both hubs, the passenger side was a little loose, tired tightening the bolts..no deal. Ended up having to drill out the outer hub to get it off.

I've always had 1 Ward and 1 Superwinch...bought it that way from brother. Looking to replace the locking hub.

Guess my question is could that have been the reason for the death or was the death wobble the reason for the loose hub?

I know totally a blind answer but just looking for ideas.

Also, anyone know who can put balance beads in 37" tires, I'd be willing to take tires off and just bring them and any good place to order new hub?

    Thanks
    Grant SJM
