  • 456 rear

I've got the 456 rear installed but haven't got the front yet (its a 307). Is it OK to drive as long as I don't shift into 4wd? Or should I go ahead and remove the front drive shaft?

R&P will spin as they are attached to the axle shafts. The shafts rotate as they are attached to the tires. Not in any way an issue as long as you don't place tcase into 4wd. This is only for a tcase which has the 2wd capability.

I did the same thing when we moved out here. My only issue is I wish I would have gone to 4.88 - I'm talking to my 8.8 guy about a Aw4 swap somewhere down the road
