97 jgc 2wd 5.2l hard turn

so i recently aquired a 97 jgc with the 5.2 and 2wd. it is nearly impossible to turn this thing if your sitting still. its ok if ur moving not great but ok. any ideas would be awsome. thanks

If you pull the RPM's up does it turn easier? It sounds like a pump problem from this side of the monitor hard to say without looking at it though.
