I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee. Whenever i go from park to reverse it kinda jumps into it and makes a creeking noise, same going to drive also. plus i dont know if it like skips or misses gears but every once and a while it will like thrust forward and the rpms will either go really or go low. does this just like need a tune up or something? or do you think its worse.

The noise is normal, there is an electronic solenoid box in the transmission that makes the noise. The rest of the stuff just does not make sense in the description that you are giving.Some people just need to get over themselves.Comment
