  • Engine swap

I own a 1990 jeep in need of engine swap. I found a 98 jeep with working engine but body beat to ****. If I do a full swap. Engine tranny wire harness, sensors should everything work ok?

You're going to have to come up with more information before anyone can help you.

    1990 jeep what?

    1998 jeep what?

The answer is no...everything (wiring, computer, tranny, t-case etc...) is different between those year.

To find something to match your 90 you'll need to stick with before they changed everything in 91.

what Darrin said. Find compatable models otherwise you'll do alot of work for nothing or it will cost you WAY too much to redo it all

Does your original jeep have a 4.0 ?
If so ' swap engines and keep your origininal puter and all :)
Course the fuel injection from original would need to be retained ;)
