      I'm not an expert by any means - but generally TPS (or TPMS) are the Tire Pressure Sensors. Newer jeeps "read" the air pressure on the fly by communicating with the TPS unit mounted (inside tire) as part of the valve stem.

        actually , I am learning about them with me new (to me) station wagon ! ..... it appears when previous owner had new front tires installed, they didn't reset it ;)
