Anyone,
I have been working on the interior of my 85 CJ-7. Installing a new dash, carpet, seats etc. Now I am ready to take it for a drive and it will not start. When I parked it in the garage it was running fine.
When I turn it over it appears to be firing, but when I let the key go to the run position it does not start. I just put a new battery in and it has a full tank of gas.
Anyone have a thought on what part might go bad while just sitting that might cause it to not start. The CJ has a 258 engine and as I said was running fine when I started work. I have not started it in about 2 months though.
Any assist would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Cliff
