Rich, a Detroit Locker is the Classic example of an Automatic locker, and that's what I think of when I hear about automatic locker , so show me where the clutch pack is located in a Detroit locker, and I will be educated ! :)

ARB gets my vote. Strong carriee , proven reliability and you can also use some of their compressors for OBA. E-locker would be my second vote if you don't want air or have fears of rupturing a line on the trail.
I had an Aussie in my last TJ up front. Was quiet and great offroad but not when you were bound up in the rocks and needed to turn...also was a bit to get used to on the roads with snow if in 4wd
