If you are eligible for the National Parks Senior Pass and have ever considered getting one, you might want to see about going ahead and buying one. I was talking to a Park Ranger recently, and he said that the Park Service is planning on raising the price to $80 sometime next year.

Some parks have been charging for years, such as the Truman Home in Independence, then their are others that don't charge. I don't know the criteria that the NPS uses to determine which parks charge which ones don't. You would have to ask them,Bill T.
