i have a 06 TJ with the 6 speed manual transmission. In the last few weeks I've noticed it's harder and harder to get into 1st and 2nd gear. Most the time but not always when shifting into 2nd it will grind a little. Thoughts???

my 06 did the same and i changed the fluid and it was much better afterwards, i also recall that the 06's were shipped from the factory with less fluid than they should have had, mine was before i changed it.

I had my fluid changed over the weekend. It did not help at all. I was hoping it would b something simple. My luck it's never simple.RandyComment

try to synchronize your shifts more, like when driving a big truck . soon, ya wont even need a clutch after first, cuz ya will know how to FLOAT the gears ! ;)
