does anyone know what model years chrysler or dodge 5.9 v-8 will fit in an 88 yj?....i know the older ones will fit tranny but not sure on newer ones.

You can fit almost any engine in a YJ. Are you asking which 5.9s will work with your tranny? Which tranny do you have? Also are you swaping axles? -
i'm not sure yet.......88 yj 4.2 with an automatic.....i will be doing diff swaps soon....just havent figured out how i wanna do them.....i gots to get rid of the 6 cylinder tho........wanna keep my auto. i have an older 304 that needs worked over......but would like to go with later model to get the fuel injection.Comment
